5 Use “Do not disturb” apps to set yourself times when you shouldn’t be looking at the internet or doing other time wasting activities. Or just turn off your router. You might be surprised how much more you get done.
4 Set clear boundaries between work and play time. Otherwise the temptation to answer just one more call can be too much.
3 If what you’re writing is more of a chore than a pleasure then switch projects for a short while, or work on something just for fun. The break will do you good and could inspire useful ideas further down the line.
